This woodland and field wedding site offers you your own “secret hideaway” which is truly stunning. Located only a stone’s throw away from Calke Abbey, National Trust Property. The venue is accessed down a private tree-lined avenue opening up to a meadow nestled within an intimate private woodland glade making this hidden hideaway perfect for a Tipi or Sailcloth wedding celebration.
The Hideaway at Stanton’s Wood, Ticknall, offers you the perfect space to design your own outdoor relaxed wedding celebration.
The site is perfect for either a Tipi Wedding or Sailcloth Marquee, both of which Sami Tipi can provide for you.
The Hideaway provides a blank canvas for you to create your outdoor wedding day in these beautiful surroundings. As you drive to the site down the tree-lined track, you’ll have the use of 3 areas on the site. The Glade (a favourite spot for outdoor ceremonies), The Celebration Field, and The Car Parking Field.
The Glade
The Glade is an area at The Hideaway wedding site that offers the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony. The area is surrounded by mature trees creating the perfect woodland ceremony spot. After your ceremony, you can walk through to your celebration field to be greeted by your Tipi or Sailcloth wedding set up.
The Celebration Field
The wedding meadow is surrounded by mature woodland, with lots of walkways off, for you and your guests to enjoy the outdoor space. This really is a photographer’s dream, with so many natural beauty spots around to capture those special moments.
You and your guests are encouraged to make the most of this woodland setting by camping for the weekend. You can either bring your own tents or create your own glamping village with Bell Tents.
