When two creative forces like Cathy of Boelle Events and Hollie of Moss Floral Artistry collaborate, you can expect nothing short of magic. Together, they transformed our Two-Pole Sailcloth Tent into a monochrome masterpiece, creating one of our favourite sailcloth wedding styling ideas to date.
Set at the beautiful woodland venue of The Hideaway in Ticknall, Derbyshire, this styled shoot blended modern design with timeless elegance. Proving that minimal styling, when done well, can be just as impactful as colour.
With a team of amazing suppliers behind them, they crafted a look that was both bold and sophisticated, proving that minimalism can be just as impactful as colour when executed flawlessly. Spoiler alert: it was an absolute WOW from the moment you walked in.

Sailcloth Wedding Entrance Styling
First up? The entrance. Hollie brought her A-game with two stunning floral pillars featuring clouds of baby’s breath and crisp white roses. Think of them as the ultimate Insta-worthy backdrop, perfectly framing the tent entrance and setting the tone for what was waiting inside.

Hanging Styling Ideas for a Sailcloth Wedding
Once you stepped into the Sailcloth Tent, it was sensory overload in the best possible way. Cathy took full advantage of the Sailcloth’s high poles, creating this ridiculously cool hanging display. Picture oversized black shades suspended from wire, with just a touch of faux greenery to soften the industrial vibes.

Statement Cake and Dessert Styling
And let’s talk about that cake. Forget about sticking it on a table in the corner—Cathlene’s Cakes had a whole station. We’re talking wave boards, petal chairs, and towering pedestals, all to showcase a stunning three-tier creation. Creating a whole cake experience.

Modern Monochrome Table Styling
As for the dining setup, it was minimalist perfection. Long tables draped in floor-length white linen set the stage for black-fringed placemats, cutlery, and stationery that popped like crazy against the monochrome palette. Every little detail was on point, from the first floral pillar to the last black-fringed fork.

This shoot is a great example of how versatile Sailcloth wedding styling can be. Whether you’re planning something modern, minimal or completely bespoke.
