Who says autumn weddings have to be all burnt oranges and deep reds? Last year, we flipped the script and embraced a fresh, minimalist palette that brought a clean and elegant twist to a season often defined by its fiery tones. Crisp whites, soft nudes, and subtle gold accents—plus chic white pumpkins with hand-lettered place names—set the stage for a truly unique autumn wedding, full of style and sophistication.
We handed the concept and tipis over to Lesley from The Rustic Wedding Company, who brought it to life with incredible creativity. Lesley takes us through the key styling areas, showing just how versatile a Sami Tipi wedding can be. Working alongside fantastic local suppliers, she created an autumnal showcase inside our tipis that was nothing short of magical.
The Tipi Entrance
First impressions matter, right? As guests arrived, they were greeted by tall, statement-making floral pillars from J Austin Design. Think white hydrangeas, bunny tails, bleach ruscus, and reflexed roses in full bloom, setting the tone for the day ahead. We added a bit of drama with sweeping white drapery, perfectly framing the entrance to the tipi—an idea we’d been dying to try out. It added height, elegance, and that all-important ‘wow’ factor from the get-go.

The Table Scape
Now, onto the real show-stopper—the central tables. Nude table runners stretched along the table, paired with gold candlesticks, Ester and Erik candles in nude and white, and the most stunning handwritten pumpkins by Allie Paints Signs. Gold beaded charger plates, stylish knotted nude napkins, and crystal-cut glassware brought the luxe factor, while white sanded drop chiffon chair drapes added a soft, flowing touch.

For the outer tables, we dialed it down just a bit for a more relaxed yet equally beautiful vibe. White table runners, seagrass charger plates, and tea lights gave everything a laid-back, natural feel. The floral arrangements on these tables continued the theme with more white hydrangeas, bunny tails, and reflexed roses, all tying in seamlessly to our clean, bright aesthetic.

The Top Table
The sweetheart table got its moment to shine with a waterfall white drape cascading to the floor, surrounded by pillar candles for that soft, romantic glow. But the real highlight? A sweeping floral arrangement that felt both grand and intimate, setting the stage for the couple to enjoy their special moment in total style.

The Florals
Florals were an absolute star of the show. J Austin Design delivered on every level with arrangements that felt modern yet timeless. Whether it was the single-stemmed white roses down the central table or the towering floral pillars at the entrance, each arrangement was thoughtfully crafted to add a sense of elegance without overpowering the space. White bunny tails and bleach ruscus brought texture, while the mix of hydrangeas and roses kept everything looking lush and full.

The Cake
The cake was anything but ordinary, courtesy of Cathlene’s Cakes. Displayed on a small white dresser, it added a quirky touch to the day. The cake itself had an innovative design, with one layer styled on its side—because why not push the boundaries a little? We tied in the styling with a nude table runner, gold candlesticks of varying heights, and a few well-placed florals, bringing the whole look together.

In the end, this shoot was all about balance—taking the warmth of autumn and layering it with clean whites and nudes to create a setting that felt both cozy and chic. It’s a classic twist for couples looking to celebrate the season in a way that’s fresh, elegant, and totally unforgettable.
