Why is a Tipi Party cheaper than a Wedding?

Why is a Tipi Party cheaper than a Wedding?

The belief is that a tipi party will be cheaper than a tipi wedding and it definitely seems unfair. “Why do I have to pay more for a wedding than I do a party?” Well, the truth is you don’t. And I just want to explain that for you.

Creating Your Event

Dare I say these words, the event isn’t important!

YIKES, that sounds wrong for an event company to even utter those words. They are not meant in the literal sense because of course, the event is SUPER IMPORTANT.  What we mean by this is that the end result of what you are looking to create is always the most important starting point.

Our job is to get a clear understanding of what you want and need from your Tipi space to create for you the best outdoor celebration space that works for you, whether this is a party, wedding or office gathering.

We’ll often begin by asking you, what is the event you are looking to plan because that gives us a foundational understanding of what you might need.

Naturally, when you have a wedding, you generally want more from your space than you do when you are having a party.

Party and Wedding Comparison

Let’s compare an 80 guests celebration for a wedding verses an 80 guest party

Typically for a wedding, the wish list normally consists of;

✔️ Seating for 80 guests – to enjoy a meal together
✔️ A Bar area
✔️ Relaxed seating with the fire pit
✔️ The dance floor

Based on the above wish list, we would recommend to you two Giant Hats with a Chill-Out Tipi. This will create the 3 zones you are looking to create, the magic three D’s we call them, Drinking, Dining, Dancing.

Here is an example of how that space could look on a floor plan for you;

Bringing The Floor Plan to Life

Naturally, a wedding normally comes with more details such as a cake table, space for a guest book and card box, seating plan and welcome display. So, if you want more from your space, potentially, you will need more space for it.

A Typical Party Wish List

Now let’s compare this against having a party for 80 guests, reviewing the wish list;

✔️ A Bar area
✔️ Relaxed seating with the fire pit
✔️ The dance floor

From the party wish list, you can see that you have already condensed half the furniture that you would need. Therefore, you would only need two giant hat tipis so there’s definitely going to be a cost difference there because simply put you’re having less stuff.

Based on the above wish list, we would recommend to you Two Giant Hat Tipis.

Conclusion

Your day is about having what you want and creating the space that you need. And yes, the more furniture you need is naturally going to impact the overall cost. So, get clear on how you see your day. How you see your celebration, and what it is that you want from it. That would be my key advice. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a wedding or party, we all have different needs. We all have different wants. We all have different ideas of how we want to celebrate. And our job is to help you to get clear on that vision so we can create the most amazing outdoor celebration space that is right for you whatever the event.
