Justyna and Adam didn’t want a venue that had been used the week before for another ‘run of the mill’ wedding! On seeing the Tipis, they knew two Giant Hats would create a magical and unique wedding day.
As soon as Justyna and Adam had seen the Tipis, they had a clear vision of how they wanted their Tipis to look and quickly got to work crafting. DIY’ing most
of their decorations including all of the flowers, signage, rag bunting and pompoms. Oh boy, did the work they put in pay off, their Tipi space was bright and colourful and injected full of personality.
They created a Festival theme Tipi Wedding that they had been dreaming of with a romantic twist.

What made you decide on an outdoor wedding?
We originally planned to have our wedding at a local golf club and even booked to see the venue, however as we were approaching the date to see it I saw someone mentioning the Tipi wedding and when I looked at their photos it just looked relaxed, magical and unique. We then decided that this is what we would like to achieve rather than the venue, which would have been used a week before us, in the exact same way but with a different colour scheme.

How would you describe your ceremony?
We wanted everything to happen in one place. We chose to have an outdoor ceremony under a Little Hat Tipi, with all of our guests looking on.

How did you feed your guests?
During the day we wanted a relaxed menu but still with the seated element so chose to have a plated BBQ. We completely surprised our guests during this time with Singing Waiters – they were brilliant and a real hit with our guests. In the evening the Beverley Pizza company served up delicious wood-fired pizzas.

How did you entertain your guests?
The Singing waiters were a big part of our entertainment, along with lots of outdoor games and we even created a glow stick station.

What are your Top Tips for planning a Tipi wedding?
Have Fun! The whole process was amazing. Jodie and the team helped us so much that we could focus on creating our dream wedding stress-free!
I knew how I wanted everything to look like therefore I created all of the decorations myself, and things I couldn’t have made, I rented and styled in a way I wanted to. All of the flowers, signs, pompoms were made by me!
We involved our guests and our sweet grazing table had cakes made by our close friends and families.
We both loved the whole process and the idea of creating our unique wedding. We wouldn’t have changed anything if we were to re do it!
We also incorporated some of the Polish wedding traditions such as welcoming the Bride and Groom with a bread by their parents.
