Two Grooms Tipi Wedding Celebration
Two Groom Tipi Wedding Celebration that is close to our heart as we actually attended this wedding as guests. Mark and Chris are our best friends, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate their wedding than of course a tipi!! For us it was amazing to be able to experience the tipis as guests and absorb the atmosphere that these bad boys ooze with abundance.
Mark and Chris had an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony conducted by Jo Clarke of My Perfect Ceremony. They walked down the aisle together to the song “A Thousand Years” which was acoustically played and sang by a friend which instantly caused tears of happiness.
Celebrations then moved to the three giant hat tipis where everyone enjoyed a hog roast with salads and rustic breads. In the evening they had a help yourself plough mans.
Mark and Chris gathered the help of family and friends on the day to bring their vision together. The theme was very rustic with hessian and lace table runners and yellow and hessian bunting. They had been collecting glass jam jars on the months running up to the wedding, these were filled with relaxed wedding flowers. The flowers filled the tipi space and looked and smelt incredible. Embracing the DIY element of styling their tipi space, they got creative with lots of wood and chalk board signs. Some of these were event made from old skirting and chopping boards!
The evening party was amazing. Plastic Pantomime are a live band and they know how to get a party started. One that doesn’t want to stop with chants of “just one more” continuing at the end of the evening.
We love a good wedding video. Lara Elliott did an amazing job capturing the joy and emotion of the day;
