The Green Wedding Movement
Every year, we hand the tipis over to Cathy from Boelle Events to showcase the latest trends and styles for you to enjoy. With trust in what Cathy does, we left her to create whatever she wished, allowing her creativity to ooze. As we are all sat around the table in the Cattows Farm Coffee Shop, Cathy swooped in with her styling plans bringing a whole new energy level and she shared her vision of “Welcome To the Jungle”. This also saw the launch of ‘The Green Wedding Movement’ from Cathy. As a stylist, she hand makes a lot of her accessories which allows her to make bespoke, unique items but also to choose organic and sustainable materials to work with.
The inspiration behind the styling
Over to Cathy to explain where her ideas came from;
“The styling inspiration came from my travels earlier in the year visiting Asian jungles and villages in Thailand. I wanted to show couples that you can use your personal experiences to help plan and style your wedding and make it a beautifully unique occasion”.

The open weekend also saw the launch of ‘The Green Wedding Movement’ from Cathy. As a stylist, she hand makes a lot of her accessories which allows her to make bespoke, unique items but also to choose organic and sustainable materials to work with.
Table Details
Hand-dyed organic cheesecloth with chemical-free and natural indigo dye to make the beautiful draping table runners. It’s important for me as a designer and stylist to combine my love of the environment into my work and help couples achieve eco-friendly events.
The Cake
The cake was created by The Old Manor House Bakery, with a metallic blue base and dream catcher details. This was all part of a larger boho seating area created with floor cushions and a large peacock chair. Marie from the Flower patch added lots of large pot plants and pops of colourful flowers too bringing the whole look together.
Fresh and Unique
Combining bright colours and travel inspiration demonstrates that you can completely step away from the traditional and create something fresh and unique for your tipi wedding.
