Sarah & James’ Oxfordshire Tipi Wedding
Sarah and James’ Oxfordshire Tipi Wedding was planned whilst living in the Caymen Islands.
The celebration was held on a working farm with breathtaking views over the gorgeous Oxfordshire countryside. The field had its own lake that helped to create its own unique atmosphere and the most stunning images, which were captured by Duncan Cox. Sarah’s family are originally from Derbyshire so wanted to work with as many local suppliers from both the Derbyshire and Oxfordshire area.
Sarah and James love the outdoors. Living in the Cayman Islands means that hey spend a lot of their time outside. Choosing to have an outdoor wedding always seemed the obvious choice.
The wedding took place in mid-September, although a few of the photos show heavy cloud in the background, it remained dry and sunny all day. The design and decoration of the teepees was pulled together by Sarah and her Mum Di. Mum Di was instrumental in helping Sarah and James plan their wedding with them living in the Cayman Islands.
The bar area was set within a yurt with the addition of a bell tent for the children to play in and later fall asleep in. The day was filled with such joy from the team arriving to set up through to dancing the night away.
