With our first open event of the year fast approaching, we thought we’d take a little break from real weddings and give you something a bit different.

In May last year, we had our big Spring showcase event at Cuttle Brook and we wanted to share a little bit of how it all came together.  We showcased three of our giant hat tipis, styled beautifully by Tara from Tickety Boo Events.  With splashes of colour added by Jo Beth Floral Design. Stationery from Rose Press and a stunning teal blue wedding cake by Cottonwood Bakery. This event had an amazing relaxed boho vibe that we absolutely loved.

Both Megan Wilson and Chris Terry captured the weekend in amazing style, so sit back and enjoy!

Boho Styled Tipi Wedding Shoot

The event kicked off with a styled shoot which happened on the Friday before the open event.  Megan captured loads of lovely images inside and outside the tipis with our gorgeous model couple in amongst all of the styling details.

Spring Open Weekend

The weekend event was a huge success with lots of lovely couples and their families coming to have a look round the tipis and chat to us about the plans for their special day. With the addition of a handful of extra suppliers to make the event feel like a real wedding. The golf went down a treat!

VIP Evening

During this Spring event, we also took the opportunity to show off the tipis at night time by inviting all of our lovely booked couples to come and join us for an evening of canapés, live music and cocktails.  This gave them the opportunity to see how the tipi space changes from daytime to night time, as well as having a fun time partying courtesy of Sami Tipi!

Come and See The Tipis

If you have enjoyed the inspiration from this past event and would like to see more, why not pop along to our first open weekend of the year?

Taking place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th March at Cuttle Brook, Swarkestone.  We have created dedicated time slots for you to come and talk to a member of the Sami Tipi team, as well as being able to have a wander round the tipis and chat to a handful of local suppliers.
