We Do Things Differently
At Sami Tipi we believe in doing things a little differently to the rest. Our main ethos is customer first. We take the time to get to know you and understand how you want to create your own outdoor celebration. Our favourite thing is hearing all about your plans and ideas and how you would like your day to look and feel.
We pride ourselves on this so much that each year we invite all of our customers to a special VIP experience with an evening under the canvas of the Tipis. The VIP Night is a heartfelt THANK YOU for booking with Sami Tipi. We treat our customers to an all expenses paid evening with food, cocktails and live entertainment. Not only does this give you the opportunity to see the tipis in the evening but it’s also a great time to relax and chat to us about your own celebration in a relaxed and fun setting.
VIP Night 2019
The evening kicked off at 7pm with our VIP guests arriving and being treated to a glass of prosecco. This is a chance for everyone to settle into the space and have a look around. We find that a lot of couples haven’t had the chance to see the Tipis in the evening so this is the perfect opportunity to visualise how your own space could look. This year we showcased three of our giant hat tipis.
A special thank you to Hannah Hall Photography and Patrick at Taylor Made Videography for capturing the whole thing for us, we have some beautiful images to remember the night by.
Our entertainment for the evening was a mixture of Ben Haynes Acoustic Set, DiscoMania’s Silent Disco, Paul Grundle Magician, The Beige Bay and their fabulous new photo booth. Sapphire Pyrotechnics ended the night with an amazing firework extravaganza. We had so much fun, there was something for everyone.
Award winning catering was served up by Thomas The Caterer. He wowed us all with a mixed selection of delicious bowl food. It was always a pleasant sight to see a fresh batch of bowls appearing from the catering annex. We had some great feedback from our guests that night and lots of full tummies.
Mambo Mobile Bars really got the party started with their famous cocktails. This year we gave our guests the choice of a Porn Star Martini, English Garden, Bramble, Long Island Iced Tea and Bellini.
Tickety Boo chose the colour scheme for the event and hooked up with Polly & Me for signage and stationery, Once Upon a Time Flowers and Ruby Lou’s Cake Co to create the look. Everyone pulled together to create a rustic style with deep green potted plants, wooden signage, greys and scattered pinks. The Ruby Lou’s Cookie Wall went down a treat leaving not much more than a few crumbs at the end of the night.
A Heartfelt THANK YOU!
This year has been a special year for us as we have grown the fleet by 11 mini tipi tents and also a beautifully crafted Sailcloth Tent. We wouldn’t be able to continue to grow without the support from our customers so we love, love, love getting the chance to say THANK YOU.
