When Plan A Falls Apart

Neil and Claire had the most relaxed wedding celebration but to look through these photos you wouldn’t know the chaos they had been through only 6 weeks prior.

It is often a chicken and egg situation of what to book first. Claire and Neil secured their wedding venue then sought to secure their wedding tipis. We carried out a site visit and all was moving along smoothly, that was until 6 weeks to go. This is when they received the news that they had lost the tipi site!!

All was not lost. We hit google and google maps to see if we could identify another wedding field close by. Amazingly, within just a few days with our help they secured a new location.

Finding Sami Tipi

We were very lucky to find Sami Tipi after falling in love with the idea of a tipi wedding, and from the first contact they were brilliant. Jodie was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process and when we saw the tipis at the open day, and met Jodie and her team we knew we had made the right decision.

When the Nightmare Happened

We had a nightmare 6 weeks before the wedding when we lost our site, but Jodie was instrumental in finding a new site and also the extra resources we needed. When we met Craig and the lads on the day of set up, it was brilliant to see the team putting up the tipis and start creating such a spectacular setting.

A Big Thank You

Once we had added our final touches, the tipis really were breathtaking, and on the day of the wedding they were perfect. As well as being the main talking point for our guests, second to the beautiful bride obviously!

We can’t express our thanks enough to Sami Tipi, and our dream wedding was made a reality with the tipis we had. The hardest part was walking away on the night of the wedding knowing it was over!
