Hickling, Leicestershire, Tipi Wedding
Leah and Rob’s tipi wedding took place on August bank holiday in the beautiful village of Hickling in Leicestershire. They celebrated in four giant hat tipis adding in lots of personal “travel” themed touches to their space.
Travel Themed Styling
With a passion for travel they themed their tables and favours with each country they’d visited together. Each guests favour represented the country table name they sat at. The Morocco table were treated to mint tea, the Germany table to pretzels and the America table to S’mores.
Keeping with the travel theme, Leah and Rob used a giant map as the seating plan. Each guests had a personal escort card. This was a tiny handmade suitcase that revealed the details of “where in the world will you be sitting”.
It wouldn’t be a bank holiday without rain! Georgi the photographer had a small window of dry weather shortly after their church ceremony. Making the most of this time, she grabbed the couple for a few of the all important photos. Here is what Georgi Mabee said about the rain; “I actually found the rain heightened the atmosphere inside the tipis, it just felt so cosy and warm! ”
