Gemma and Alex’s Tipi Wedding Captured by Christopher Terry

Gemma and Alex were one of our first weddings! It was Gemma that introduced us to the talent that is Christopher Terry Photography.

The couple married back in June 2014 and arranged everything in just 6 months, whilst Gemma was on maternity leave. They had planned everything for the following year but quickly decided they could plan it in a shorter time above all they were just so excited to get married and celebrate with the tipis.

Gemma and Alex did an incredible job creating their relaxed tipi wedding celebration. Making the most of the outdoor space and filled it with DIY outdoor games.

The Day of the Wedding

As we sat in the local beer garden on the Saturday afternoon, we were greeted by the biggest welcome. Alex and his groomsmen were also at the pub having a tipple before the wedding ceremony. It was here that Christopher Terry came over and introduced himself to us. From this moment we have loved working with him.

After their local church wedding, Gemma and Alex headed to the tipis to have the most amazing day surrounded by their closest family and friends.

From the moment we contacted Sami tipi right up until after the wedding Jodie and Craig were there for us straight away. We felt like we had their sole attention and nothing was too much, they went above and beyond to help make our wedding day extra special and for this we are truly grateful!

Jodie was bursting with amazing ideas for decoration and had an array of contacts for everything we needed, including the fantastic venue.

We had a little hiccup during the reception with one of the outside companies and Craig was on hand immediately to sort it out, even though it wasn’t their problem, which we were very grateful for and found extremely professional.

I cannot recommend them enough and tell anyone that will listen about our magical day, it was perfect and better than I could ever imagined. All our guests insisted it was amazing and one of the best weddings they had ever been to! Thank you Sami Tipi!
