Spring Tipi Styling Trends

From our recent Spring Showcase at Cattows Farm comes this fabulous styled shoot. With this event being April, we wanted to showcase lots of Spring Tipi styling trends, as well as giving everyone lots of inspiration for creating and styling their own outdoor tipi celebration.

Tara Knott was in charge of pulling together a super supplier team and sprinkling her magic in the three giant hats and chill-out tipi. And with show stopping floral displays, contemporary stationery and subtle styling touches, she did an amazing job.

The Styling Theme

For the Spring showcase we wanted to celebrate all things seasonal, with pastel blooms and textured fabrics. When we style a tipi we always try to keep things simple on the tables so that they are beautiful but also functional but on this occasion we decided to showcase a showstopper middle tablescape to really give some style inspiration to couples planning their wedding. With a hanging frame of blossom and fresh greens to give that wow to the space.

I always work in quite an eclectic way with different fabrics and finishing touches and I really enjoyed bringing this all together.

Super Styling Team

I chose a creative team that I knew would enhance the vision and bring together their own creative take on the spring idea. Emily Wishers works mainly with British grown flowers and I knew that her style was perfect for this set up. We used large floral vessels but also opted to use a few smaller pieces with florals in stone dishes which gave the illusion of dancing.

Allie from Polly and Me creates beautiful lettering and always has a new idea to make signage and stationery that bit better than the norm. And Sophie from Big day blooms makes the most delicious cakes that always looks so stunning. The level of detail on her work is gorgeous and the cakes she created for the showcase were just beautiful.
