Cuttle Brook at Swarkestone

Exclusive Derbyshire Outdoor Wedding Site

Cuttle Brook at Swarkestone is an EXCLUSIVE Sami Tipi outdoor wedding site. The site lies at the end of Cuttle Brook joining the River Trent as it meanders past the historic Swarkestone Bridge. With its panoramic views across the Derbyshire Countryside, this uniquely picturesque, riverside location is perfect to host a relaxed and romantic Sami Tipi wedding. Cross over the charming bridge and walk into the large event space complimented by rustic farm buildings and beautiful fields of crops in which to capture the most unique wedding images.

Exclusive 3 Day Hire

For a Saturday wedding, the tipis will be erected on Thursday, giving you the Friday to add in your own personal touches, Saturday to host your Celebration and Sunday to clear down.

What is included?

What about power?

Cuttle Brook does not have access to an electricity supply, but as part of your hire a 40 Kva event generator will be provided. This will power your tipis, catering and toilets. Larger generators are available if required, at an additional cost.

What about toilets for the guests?

As you are in a field, toilets are required. As part of your land hire package a 2+1 luxury toilet unit will be on site from the Friday to the Sunday.

What does 2+1 Mean?

2 Female Toilets, 1 male toilet and 1 urinal. Larger toilet units and disabled units are available on request, we also have the option to upgrade your toilets to a tipi coloured unit.

Is a bar service included?

Yes, we like to keep this simple for you. Included in your hire is a cash bar service. This service includes the bar structure, all glassware, chilling, bar staff and license application. The bar team will be on site from the moment your guests arrive until last orders at 12:00am.  This service is run by Mambo Mobile Bars.

Is catering included?

No. We have a number of recommended suppliers that we work with. We believe it is important to have the wedding menu that you want and therefore have not created any wedding menus for you, but we are always happy to discuss quality local suppliers with you.

Can guests camp at Cuttle Brook?

Yes, camping is included for up to 5 tents. Additional tents will be charged at £6 per pitch per night. You can either bring your own tent or hire in the service of a bell tent company. We recommend Bell Bliss for this.

20 Bales are included as part of your hire. Any bales that are damaged will be charged at £5 there after. These will arrive to site on the Friday. We do not allow bales inside the tipis.

What do we do about rubbish?

We simply ask if you can leave the field as you found it. So you are ultimately responsible for clearing this away. Your caterers should take their waste, which we advise you check with them. If you wish us to help with the disposal, we can hire in a mini skip for you with an approximate cost of £180.

What time does the music need to finish?

12:00am Last drinks orders,
12.30am Music off,
01.00am Off site or making your way to your camping tent.
