Visit Festive Derby’s lineup complete with our Christmas Tipi Nordic Bar. This December we’re returning to Derby with the Tipi Bar you all love.

We’ve teamed up with our favourite bar supplier friends Mambo Mobile Bars to bring you Derby’s Christmas Tipi Nordic Bar experience.

We’ll be serving all of your festive favourite drinks and of course some incredible cocktails under the fairy light-lit Tipi canvas.

Tipi Nordic Bar Opening December

Enjoy a festive drink in the comfort of the three hat tipi. Embrace the ambience of these incredible structures, including our open fire and of course, lots of twinkly fiary lights.

The Tipi Nordic Bar will be open from 10.30am on Saturday 29th November through to the 31st December (excluding Christmas day and Boxing Day).

Whether you’re out finishing (or starting!) your Christmas shopping. Meeting friends and colleagues for festive food and drinks. Or treating the family to ice skating be sure to stop in and say hi! We can guarantee you’ll see some familiar faces behind the bar.

Outside the tipis, there’ll be the covered ice rink which was hugely popular last year and has sold out of some sessions already. If you’re lucky you might spot Skater Claus or the Ice King & Queen. Maybe even a naughty elf or two!

Family Friendly

Bringing the kids? For the little ones, there’ll be mulled apple juice and a variety of mocktails plus the all-important hot chocolates with all of the trimmings which is the perfect way to warm the family up after a spin on the ice.

You’ll find the Nordic Bar, located next to the ice-rink on Derby Market Place.

Magical Puppet Shows and Storytime for Little Ones!

Make your December mornings unforgettable with enchanting puppet shows and fairy tale storytelling, every Saturday and Sunday at 11am in the Nordic Bar.

Perfect for young children and families, this magical mini-theater experience is brought to life by a “Fairy” from AVP Theatre Productions, specialists in captivating stories and puppetry.

Why not start the day with a special Toddler Ice-Skating Session at 10am? Then warm up with a hot chocolate in the Nordic Bar, ready for an unforgettable storytime adventure.

Keep an eye out for festive characters like the Gingerbread Man and Elf on a Shelf, popping by to spread Christmas cheer.
