Over the last few weeks I have been exploring the option of having an outdoor wedding ceremony or even getting married in one of our stunning tipis, something that is becoming more and more popular. This week I am continuing to extend on catering and feeding your wedding guests.
The perfect part of having a tipi wedding is that there are no rules, only the ones you as a couple make, leaving every aspect of the day open to do as you choose.
The freedom to have a fish and chip van, hog roast, pizza or large paella pans cooking away is so much more appealing and often more relaxed than the traditional sit down silver service meal.
This week we are hearing from our friend Ralph Skripek from The Butlers Pantry. Over to Ralph;
Having ran a catering & events business for 13 years, we have seen a huge change in our clients’ needs & expectations. Moving away from the traditional ‘package’ wedding & starting with a ‘blank canvas’ is both ideal for the wedding party as they get the day of their dreams, and for us, this ensures that we can provide as much or as little as is required.
Set menus are definitely a thing of the past, and likewise, venues who commit to just one caterer, and don’t give the diversity of choice are simply not keeping up with the modern trends of today. Choice is paramount in planning a wedding, from the welcome drinks, menu, venue, caterer, cake, flowers and all the individual aspects, that gel together to make an unforgettable day.
Here at The Butler’s Pantry, we remain one of the leading caterers, I believe, through our flexibility & the confidence we instil from our service. So too, we have seen a move from the traditional ‘white marquee’ with an up-turn towards tipi tents, barns, boats & alongside these more unique venues, our catering, bars & events planning service reflect a contemporary and individual style.
Our style of catering is simply ‘your style’, with service being professional but discreet.
Our events team travel nationwide, not committing to one area, & work alongside some of the most highly regarded and flexible companies who support the same work ethics as we do.
We are proud to be associated with Tipi Tents & look forward to discussing your wedding or event with you.
