Real Wedding Wednesday – Mark & Chris
This one is close to our heart as we actually attended this wedding as guests. Mark and Chris are our best friends, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate their wedding than of course a tipi!! For us it was amazing to be able to experience the tipis as guests and absorb the atmosphere that these bad boys ooze with abundance.
Mark and Chris had an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony conducted by Jo Clarke (now of My Perfect Ceremony), they walked down the aisle together to the song “A Thousand Years” which was acoustically played and sang by a friend which instantly caused tears of happiness.
Celebrations then moved to the three giant hat tipis where everyone enjoyed a hog roast with salads and rustic breads hosted by Darby & Joan. Mark gathered the help of family and friends to help bring all of the styling ideas together that they had collected themselves and also hired from Darby & Joan.
The evening party got everyone dancing with the amazing Plastic Pantomime and chants of “just one more” were heard late in to the night!
We love a good wedding video. Lara Elliott did an amazing job capturing the joy and emotion of the day;
