We are only 1 week away from our open weekend which is taking place on the 19th and 20th April at Bawdon Lodge Farm in Loughborough. We have enrolled the help of some very talented suppliers, who will be helping us show you how fabulous your tipi celebration could be. This week we are shinning the light on Makeup Artist David Peck-Whiston. Over to David;

Firstly tell us a little bit about yourself

I began as a Make-up Artist after working in the fashion industry over 10 years ago…

During my time in fashion many women had praised my efforts on making them feel and look beautiful giving thanks for bringing them confidence in their hour of need.

This gave me the ambition to learn a new skill.

I have now been making women look beautiful and feel confident everyday for 6 years…

After becoming a pro artist by achieving a DIOR diploma and attending BOBBI BROWN’S make-up school in London.  My portfolio has increased by specialising in Weddings,  special events and Fashion/editorial photo shoot’s. With a few cheeky t.v shows thrown into the mix.

How would you describe your style?

My style is tailored to meet the needs of my clients, I have had many experiences involving varied styles, looks & trends.

What services do you offer?

David Peck-Whiston offers women a relaxed and professional experience, giving an in depth complimentary consultation allowing brides to share their requirements.  Following the initial consultation a tailored look will be trialed in preparation for the wedding, making brides confident the completed look will wow guests on the BIG DAY!!

Should you require hair & Makeup packages my talented Hubby has been hairdressing now for nearly 12 years.

Making us the dynamic duo…!!

What do you love most about weddings?

What is there not to like about weddings, Families coming together to share memories, Eat gorgeous food and celebrate.

It is such a privilege being part of my clients magical day.

What’s the best moment you’ve had as a Makeup Artist?

I find it difficult to pick a best moment as I have had many,  I have applied friends’ makeup for their weddings over the past few years and seeing first hand the compliments from guests is rewarding.  I must say another of the best moments are when the father of the bride gets to see the brides completed look and the tears start rolling, which is truly heart warming.
